Due to Covid-19, festivals and celebrations have been banned in the country since March. But now that unlock has started, and Diwali will be celebrated in the coming month, preparations are underway at the administrative level. The administration has appealed to apply for Diwali firecracker license by November 2. Therefore, there are indications that the Diwali firecracker market will set up in the city. Also, the first festival will be celebrated after the lockdown.

All businesses have started due to unlock. Therefore, Diwali firecracker market will also be permitted in the district. For this, the sub-divisional office has recently begun the process for the license of firecrackers in Paithan-Phulambri.

Sub-divisional officer Swapnil More has appealed to the citizens who trade in firecrackers to get a temporary firecracker license. For this, the applicant will need a no-objection certificate from the municipal corporation, gram panchayat, municipal council (rural areas), concerned police station and fire department.

Meanwhile, the invoice for this license has to be submitted in three copies. The application process for the permit has started from Wednesday. This process will continue until November 2. Meanwhile, the administration has informed that only those who apply will be able to get the license. After checking the documents, temporary permits for firecrackers will be issued until November 5, informed More.
