Aurangabad, June 13:

The state government betrayed the Maratha community. No action has yet been taken to file an appeal against the Supreme Court's decision. In order to wake up the dormant government, the Maratha Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti will hold gatherings and then morchas will be organized in the districts said, leader of the Shiv Sangram party Vinayak Mete in a press conference on Sunday.

Mete said, the first gathering will be held on June 26 in Aurangabad on the occasion of Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj's birth anniversary. A rally of 10,000 motorcyclists will be held on June 27 in Mumbai. We are going to hold gatherings in every district followed by morchas. These will not be silent morchas. If our demands are not met by July 5, both the houses will not be able to function in the rainy session. There are various demands like setting up of Maratha Bhavan in the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in every district, setting up of Sarathi Sanstha office in every district, expansion of Annasaheb Patil Economic Development Corporation and timely provision of scholarships to students from Maratha community, Mete said.

Pankaja Munde has no work left

Commenting on Mete's march in Beed district, BJP leader and former minister Pankaja Munde had criticized that some people are trying to get a seat in legislative council. Taking a jibe at Munde, Mete said that some people have no work left so they saying anything.
