MIDC CIDCO police have registered a case against a crowd of 100–150 people, including 12 women, for illegally entering a counting center. The counting took place on Friday at Garware Stadium.

Around 4 pm, a dispute arose over alleged tampering with an EVM, creating significant tension. Hundreds of supporters of various candidates suddenly rushed toward the counting center. Police, stationed about 100 meters away, tried to stop the crowd and appealed for calm. Despite warnings, the crowd, including 12 women, forced their way inside. The FIR was filed based on a complaint by constable Vijay Pol, and further investigation is being conducted by police sub-inspector Vishnu Mundhe.
