Aurangabad, Jan 13:

Prime minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the corona vaccination campaign at 5,000 booths across the country on January 16. This includes 13 booths in the district. The first vaccine will be given to whoever is standing first in line from the health department. There will be no need to force anyone for vaccination said district collector Sunil Chavan on Wednesday.

The district is preparing for the corona vaccination campaign. On Wednesday, Chavan interacted with the doctors in the city and instructed them to make the campaign a success. The corona vaccine arrived in the city from Pune on Wednesday. Vaccination will be done at 5 booths in urban areas and 8 booths in rural areas. The administration has not decided who will be given the first vaccine.

A vaccination campaign will be launched on January 16. Preparations for the first phase of vaccination will be made at 268 booths in the next two days, and 1,669 employees will be appointed for the process. In the first phase, registration for vaccination has reached 37,000. These employees have also completed training. Registrations of health workers have been completed in the app. This includes 13,000 employees in rural areas and 24,000 in urban areas. Registration will continue until the last day of vaccination.

268 vaccination booths

A total of 268 vaccination booths have been set up for vaccination. This includes 150 booths in rural areas and 118 booths in urban areas. Each vaccination booth will have a staff of six. A total of 600 employees have been appointed in rural areas and 779 in urban areas.
