Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: AIMIM state president Imtiaz Jaleel on Wednesday hit back at guardian minister Sanjay Shirsat, saying, “If the AIMIM is an extremist organisation, then ban the party. Shirsat will have to prove his allegations that Nida Khan is my relative. I will drag him to court.”
Jaleel said, “ I had exposed several ‘dark deeds’ of Shirsat and had submitted complaints with evidence to the CBI chief and the state Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Because of this, he is now trying to drag me into the Nida Khan case. But I am not someone who gets frightened, but a fighter.”
“ Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sent AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi abroad to represent India’s position internationally. If AIMIM is an extremist organisation, then Shirsat should ask Modi why he sent the leader of such a party abroad,” he remarked.
Jaleel also took a sarcastic swipe at the minister, saying, “Shirsat should remain calm. The heat is intense these days, so he should drink some lemonade.”

Garlands were offered to the bier of injustice
Matin’s houses and office were demolished even though the allegations against him had not yet been proven in court. The garlands placed on municipal officials by Matin’s family were meant for the bier of injustice. The law in this country must be equal for everyone. There cannot be one law for the BJP and Shiv Sena, and another for the AIMIM,” said Imtiaz Jaleel.
He alleged that Matin’s house was demolished out of political vendetta and asserted that the house would be rebuilt at the same location with proper authorisation.
