Frequent power failure in different areas of Harsul T-point; citizens doing online work from home hit badly

Aurangabad, May 10:

Frequent electricity supply was reported in different areas of Harsul T-point, including Harisiddhinagar, Safalyanagar, Bhagatsinghnagar, Sainagar, Ashoknagar, Venkateshnagar, during the last few days.

Residents said that the power supply was halted between 10 am to 5 pm on May 7 on the pretext of repair works while there was no electricity on the evening of May 8. The power supply was also disrupted for some time on May 9.

No one was able to tell when the electricity would be resumed. The residents said that it was of no use to call the customer care centre.

They said that some times domestic supply is disrupted while street lamps remain off for some days.

“Whenever we call the electricity office, we are given technical reason.

We are facing a lot of inconvenience because of frequent power supply failure. Those who are doing online work from home have to suffer a lot. The senior officers need to pay attention towards this,” they added.
