Ganesh Lokhande (corporator of Prabhag 4-D) has been appointed as the group leader of the Uddhav in the municipal corporation. The decision was taken at a meeting held on Friday. Uddhav Sena corporators on Saturday formally registered their group with the divisional commissioner.
During the meeting, district president Ambadas Danve recommended his name, and Lokhande was unanimously chosen as the party’s group leader. The Uddhav Sena has six total corporators in the current five-year municipal corporation body.
The group later completed its formal registration with divisional commissioner Dr Jitendra Papalkar, according to information provided by the Uddhav Sena.
