Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The six corporators of Uddhav Sena who won the municipal corporation elections on Friday elected corporator Ganesh Lokhande as their group leader. The Uddhav Sena corporators met divisional commissioner Jitendra Papalkar and submitted the relevant documents in this regard.

As per rules, within 30 days of the municipal corporation elections, every party is required to appoint one of its elected corporators as group leader and submit the related documents to the divisional revenue commissioner. Accordingly, on Friday, under the guidance of Uddhav Sena leader Ambadas Danve, corporator Ganesh Kautikrao Lokhande was appointed as the group leader of Uddhav Sena.

On the occasion, city chief Balasaheb Thorat, Haribhau Hivate, Digvijay Sherkhane, Dnyaneshwar Dange, corporators Rashid Mamu, Savitribai Vani, Sachin Khaire, Sunita Sonawane, Vaishali Korde, Hanuman Shinde and Rameshwar Korde, among others, were present.
