Geevarghese Daniel ordained as sub-deacon

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: His Beatitude Cyril Mor Baselios, Metropolitan of the Malabar Independent Syrian Church, ordained Rev Dn Geevarghese Daniel as sub-deacon at St Mary’s Syrian Church, Nandanvan Colony, recently. Bishop Dr Gnana Manohar (Hyderabad), priests, and guests from Malabar Independent Church and sister Churches were present. This is the first ordination in the history of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar among Malankara tradition Churches, according to a Press statement. Rev Fr C M Philipose welcomed the gathering. Felicitations were offered to the newly ordained sub-deacon and Fr Dr Aron Thomas (Chennai).
