Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:
A delegation of German tourism representatives arrived in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at 9.30 pm on Thursday. They were greeted in a traditional Marathi style, accompanied by the resonant notes of the tutari (traditional trumpet), which left the German guests deeply impressed. Experiencing a glimpse of Indian culture, they thoroughly enjoyed this unique welcome.
Tourism officials, including deputy director of tourism Vijay Jadhav and his team welcomed the foreign guests in the customary manner.
Over the next two days, the delegation will visit the world heritage Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves, the Ghrishneshwar Temple, Daulatabad Fort, Bibi Ka Maqbara, and other sites. The tour will also evaluate which locations could be included in future tourism packages to strengthen the tourism network.
During the visit, the delegates will assess facilities at tourist sites, cleanliness, guidance systems, local experiences, and tourism services. They will also engage with city tour operators, the hotel industry, and guide associations to gain a comprehensive understanding of the tourism ecosystem.
