Grand alliance flags victory in Dharashiv zilla parishad

In the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections, the Grand Alliance secured a decisive victory, capturing control of the Zilla Parishad. Out of 55 wards, candidates from the alliance won 40 seats, while the opposing Congress–Uddhav Sena front managed only 10 seats. The election saw a direct contest between the Grand Alliance and the Congress–Uddhav Sena front. Among the alliance, BJP emerged as the dominant player, winning 19 seats, while Shinde Sena secured 15 wards. Ajit Pawar’s NCP claimed 6 seats. Uddhav Sena suffered another setback, winning just 7 seats, and Congress managed only 3 seats. Independents won 4 seats, and the Samajwadi Party opened its account with 1 victory in the Zilla Parishad.
