A special awareness and networking session on European funding, technology collaboration and the India–Europe Free Trade Agreement was jointly organised by the Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) and Eduqueron International at the MASSIA auditorium on Wednesday. Eduqueron International CEO Kiran Vaishnav and Massia president Arjun Gaikwad were present.

Addressing the gathering, Gaikwad stressed that under the ‘Local to Global’ vision, MSMEs must leverage international opportunities, boost exports and enhance technology and quality to remain competitive. Vaishnav gave a detailed presentation on European funding mechanisms, the Horizon Europe programme and FTA-linked opportunities for Indian industries. He explained eligibility criteria, proposal drafting, partner identification and project management processes with practical examples. The session also featured online guidance from Fadia Khrisata, Deputy Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, Barcelona, who outlined cooperation prospects in trade, investment, technology, energy and environment under the Europe–India 2030 Agenda. She elaborated on green and digital transition, Industry 5.0, advanced manufacturing, skill development and industrial tourism, and invited MASSIA entrepreneurs for a study tour to Spain and Europe. The programme drew participation from MSME entrepreneurs, startups, academic institutions and industry representatives. Participants termed the session useful for accessing European markets and sought more such international initiatives. Vice-president Rahul Mogle, secretary Dilip Chaudhary, joint secretary Ramakant Pulakundwar, executive member Mangesh Niturkar and others were present. A total of 27 participants attended.
