Aurangabad, Jan 2:

The Cidco police have arrested a trader from Gujarat for purchasing a minor girl kidnapped from the city. The arrested has been identified as Rahul Dabi (24, Palanpur, Gujarat). A minor girl from Misarwadi was kidnapped by Salikm alias Kadar Khan Haidar Khan Pathan (Padegaon) and his friend Yasmin on October 16, luring her with the promise that they will arrange her marriage. However, they sold her at Gujrat. The girl somehow contacted her relatives on phone and told about her misery. A case was registered at the Cidco police station. The police started the investigation and a police team including API Avghad, LPC Kamal Gadai, Lalkhan Pathan, Waman Nagare, Anil Somwanshi and others went to Gujarat and arrested Dabi and rescued the girl. The girl after the medical checkup was handed over to her relatives. The accused trader Dabi has been remanded in the police custody till January 5. The police are now investigating that how many such girls from the city have been sold in such a way.
