Aurangabad, Feb 15:

A father has submitted a habeas

corpus petition in the Aurangabad division bench of the Bombay High Court

requesting the police should search his missing daughter. The hearing on the

petition will be held on February 18.

In the earlier hearing in this

regard, the bench had directed the Ambejogai police to search the girl and

present her in the court. The hearing was held before the bench comprising

Justice S P Deshmukh and Justice Abhay Ahuja on February 15. The police

presented their stand.

The girl was missing from Ambejogai

from December 21, 2020. Her father lodged a complaint at the Ambejogai police

station but she was not found. Hence, he submitted a habeas corpus petition in

the Aurangabad division bench through Adv Siddheshwar Thombre. Division bench

comprising Justice T V Nalawade and Justice S G Shevlikar directed the police

to search the girl and present her before the court by February 15.
