Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A ‘Harmony Day and Eid Milan’ programme was organised by the Sadbhavna Manch at the Maulana Azad Research Center on Wednesday.

Javed Mukarram, a member of the Central Committee of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, presided over the function. MLC Vikram Kale, Bhikshu Vishuddhanand Maharaj, Rajendra Date Patil, Kolhe Aba Maharaj, Bishop R B Gaikwad, Engineer Wajid Qadri, Adv Abhay Taksal, Salman Siddiqui, Nisar Deshmukh and Praveena Yadav (Police Inspector, Vedant Police Station) were the chief guests.

Kolhe Aba Maharaj said: "There is only one God for all, and everyone should live with love and harmony." Bhikshu Vishuddhanand Maharaj said that God is nothing, and everything is nature. Bishop Gaikwad stated: "Jesus Christ is the son of God."

Engineer Wajid Qadri said, “The highest place on Earth is held by humans. Do not bow before anyone except the One God. This earth, mountains, sun, moon, stars, seas, trees, animals, and birds, all of these were created by Allah for the service of humankind. Bowing before them diminishes human dignity."
