The Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court has ordered authorities to verify the Right to Education (RTE) 25% reimbursement claims of two schools within six weeks and release the pending amount within the same period. The directive was issued by Justices Mangesh Patil and Prafulla Khubalkar.

Advocate Sanjay Kalbande, secretary of Domeshwar Multipurpose Charitable Trust, filed the petition through Adv. Sambhaji Munde. The plea sought the disbursement of Rs 37.52 lakhs , the outstanding reimbursement for Trimurti Primary and Secondary School, Bhajawan Junior College, and Sunshine English School, pending since 2017-18. The petitioner informed the court that the reimbursement proposal was submitted to the government on October 9, 2024. Taking note of this, the High Court issued a clear directive to process and settle the claims within the stipulated timeframe.
