Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Even as temperatures dipped slightly, residents continued to experience intense heat and discomfort on Tuesday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 42.8°C, while the minimum stood at 28.5°C. Although the mercury has fallen by nearly 6 degrees over the past two days, relief remains elusive.

Scorching heat prevailed from 11 am to 5 pm, with high humidity adding to the discomfort. Even after sunset, the atmosphere remained warm and oppressive.

After recording the season’s highest temperature of 43.4°C on April 26, the mercury dipped marginally to 43°C on Monday and further to 42.8°C on Tuesday. The weather department has warned that temperatures are likely to remain high between April 29 and May 12.
