Heavy rains continued across various parts of the district on Saturday. Persistent downpours over the past week have caused Kharif crops in the fields to begin rotting, raising concerns among farmers. On Friday night, fields in Phulambri, Talegaon, and Bismilla villages experienced heavy rain accompanied by strong winds. Standing crops were completely flattened, creating a high likelihood of significant losses in agricultural production.
