Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

As a part of World Heritage Day celebrations, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI, Aurangabad Circle) organised heritage walks at world heritage Ellora Caves and the city’s iconic monument Bibi ka Maqbara.

Meanwhile, a drawing competition was organised at Maqbara and an essay competition was held at Ellora Caves.

The superintending archaeologist Dr Shiv Kumar Bhagat presented the prizes to winners Kanishka Salampure, Ananya Gaikwad, Atharva Tongraj, Arohi Salampure and Tanushri Gahire. The certificates were presented to all the participants. The conservation assistant Sanjay Rohankar, assistant archaeologist Nandkishor Vijpuriya, teachers Nitin Bharati and Mangal Sultane were also present on the occasion.

Ellora Caves

The ASI officials including assistant archeologist Rajnish Kumar gave the prizes to the winners Harsh Koprekar, Nikita Kandur, Samiksha Gudhaniye, Samruddhi Pagare and Viren Misal.
