Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India conducted a road safety awareness campaign in the city, engaging over 2,400 students from Royal Oaks World School and BSGM School. The programme included interactive sessions, quizzes, games and scenario-based discussions to promote responsible road behaviour. The initiative comes amid concerns over road accidents, with Ministry of Road Transport and Highways data showing Maharashtra recorded 35,243 accidents in 2023. As part of its ‘Safety for Everyone’ vision, the company conducts training through traffic training parks, simulators and KYT modules. Its digital platform E-Gurukul also offers road safety lessons for students aged 5–18.
