On the eve of International Women’s Day, the All India Marwadi Women’s Conference honoured former and current female leaders who have contributed at national, state, and local levels. Various cultural programs were also held during the event.

The organization has been actively involved in numerous social initiatives for the past 25 years in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Many women leaders from this organization have contributed at the national level. Former national president Savitri Bafna previously served as the regional head, while newly elected national president Rekha Rathi has also managed regional responsibilities. Promila Dusad and Lalita Mutha handled regional operations. Local presidents Geeta Agarwal, Kalpana Laddha, Saroj Bagdia, Urmila Agarwal, Kanchan Jaiswal, Lalita Karwa, Sangeeta Gupta, Vanika Khandelwal, and Sunanda Lahoti were honoured by current president Pushpa Khandelwal and her team. The event was hosted by Nanda Mutha, while Sneha Verma and Sonam Metha gave a dance performance. Usha Dhoot presented all the women with tulsi plants as a token of appreciation for Women’s Day.
