Aurangabad, May 30:

The thieves entered in a locked house at Jyotinagar and made off with jewellery weighing eight tolas and cash Rs 1.5 lakh. The incident came to fore on Sunday afternoon.

Gorakhnath Jadhav lives near the water tank at Jyotinagar. He is the native of Solapur and had gone to his native place with his family. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the thieves broke the house and made off with jewellery weighing eight tolas and Rs 1.5 lakh cash. Jadhav returned to Aurangabad at on Sunday at around 4 pm and noticed the theft incident. He immediately informed about it to the Osmanpura police station. The process to register case in this connection was going on till late evening.
