Aurangabad, Nov 20:

Thieves broke a house at Sainagar near Bhagatsinghnagar on November 17 night and made off with gold – silver jewellery and cash.

Complainant Ramesh Hari Phuke (30) works in private factory at Shendra MIDC area. On November 17 at around 10 pm, he went on his work and locked his house. The thieves took advantage of the opportunity and broke into the house and made off with gold and silver jewellery and Rs 8,000 cash, all amounting Rs 35,000.

Ramesh returned the next morning and noticed the theft. He lodged a complaint at the Harsul police station, while hawaldar Rajendra Shejul is further investigating the case.
