Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Around 250 Sikh devotees from the city will travel to Nanded on Saturday to participate in the ‘Hind Di Chadar’ programme, organised to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur and the 350th Guru Gaddi centenary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh.

The historic event will be held in Nanded on January 24 and 25. To witness the occasion and be part of the spiritually significant celebrations, Sikh devotees from the city have completed their travel preparations. Special buses have been arranged by all three gurdwaras in the city for this purpose.

Four buses will depart for Nanded at 9.30 am from Gurdwara Gurusingh Sabha in Osmanpura. In addition, some devotees will travel by train, while others will go by private vehicles.

Office-bearers said the ‘Hind Di Chadar’ programme conveys a message of religious harmony and social unity, and has generated enthusiasm among devotees.
