Eight residents have been booked for illegally reconnecting electricity after disconnections due to unpaid bills.

In Paithan Gate and Khokadpura, vegetable market residents Shaikh Mazhar, Basir Fateh M.D., and Usman Khan, along with Subhash Zombade (Samta nagar), bypassed disconnections, causing losses to MSEDCL. Cases were filed at Cidco police station on assistant engineer Suraj Mendhe’s complaint. In Chikalthana, Saedabi Sheikh Munaf (Amina Park), Suryyabi Sheikh Mahebub (Naregaon), and Bharat Kashinath Dugam (Cidco N-2) restored supply illegally; complaints were filed by assistant engineer Gyanoba Rathod at the Cidco police station. In Chhawani, Guddi Gudam Dilip Sudam Sutar reconnected supply illegally; a case was registered at Chhawani police station.

MSEDCL Monitoring

Disconnected customers are under surveillance. Chief Engineer Pawan Kumar Kachhot warned that unauthorized connections are dangerous and violators will face strict legal action.
