Cough, cold, fever is common phenomena during the rainy season due to the humidity in the air and microbes. People often complain of diseases at the advent of the rainy season. However, the extensive use of masks has restricted diseases, opined the experts from the medical field.

The epidemic spread rapidly as the microbe attacked the body through the mouth and nose. Now, even during the rainy season, the patients suffering from cough, cold and fever are less due to regular use of masks, opined Dr Dilip Deshpande, Dr Sudhir Lahane, Dr Rajesh Wakole, Dr Kanchan Tayade, Dr Vidya Nanvatkar, Dr Govind Wankhede and others.
