Aurangabad, July 12:

As the Corona second wave is receding, the air services in the city are being restored gradually. The temporarily suspended Indigo’s Mumbai - Aurangabad air service has been restored today. The passengers gave an overwhelming response to the service on the first day of the operation. In all, 85 passengers arrived by the flight in the city while 99 passengers fly to Mumbai, the sources said. The Indigo Mumbai - Aurangabad service will be operated four days a week on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

All the air services from the city were suspended due to the eruption of the second Corona wave. As there has been some relief from the Corona infection now, the air services are being restored gradually. On July 5, Indigo started Delhi and Hyderabad services from the city. Now, the Mumbai service has also started today.

Meanwhile, Air India's Mumbai and Delhi service, operated five days a week, is regularized daily now. Hence, the passengers going to Mumbai and Delhi have gained great relief. The city passengers are now eagerly waiting for the restoration of the Bengaluru and Ahmedabad services.
