Indigo Airline will start Mumbai – Aurangabad – Mumbai air service from October 15. The flights will be operated four days a week including Tuesday, Thusday, Saturday and Sunday.

The flight will fly from Mumbai at 11.35 am and will arrive in the city at 12.35 pm. Similarly, it will fly from Chikalthana Airport at 1.10 pm and will reach Mumbai at 2.10 pm, the sources said.

After lockdown rules were relaxed, Delhi and Hyderabad services were started from the city. However, the passengers had to wait for much-awaited Mumbai air service. Finally, Air India started the flight for Mumbai. Now, AI is operating flights for Mumbai from Chiakalthan Airport on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The airlines is also planning to start the Bengaluru – Aurangabad – Bengaluru service soon, the sources said.
