Industry panel at Shreeyash Technical Campus highlights ‘Skills vs Degree’ Debate

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

The National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Chapter, in association with the Central Training and Placement Cell of Shreeyash Group of Institutions, organised an industry expert panel discussion at Shreeyash Technical Campus on the theme, “Skills vs Degree: What Matters More for a Good Job or Career in Today’s Time?”

The panel featured senior corporate professionals including Anurag Kalyani (Nidec Global Appliances India Ltd), Puneet Dhingra (Loyal Infoservices Ltd), Vijay Salve (Metalman Auto Ltd), Sandip Pimple (Grindmaster Machines Ltd), Nitin Dabhadkar (Bhogale Automotive Pvt Ltd), Anand Kakde (ASK HR Solutions) and Sharayu Pagare (Choice Group, Mumbai). The program commenced with a welcome address and introduction by Anil Palve (Head, Central TPC). The event was graced by dean academics Dr. P. M. Ardhapurkar, director Dr Sachin Wankhede, principals, heads of departments, faculty members, and others. They highlighted the importance of internships, certifications, AI advancements, technical and transferable skills, and opportunities in Tier-II cities. Over 200 students attended. Chairman Basavaraj Mangarule lauded the initiative.
