Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A male blackbuck that had wandered in search of water was seriously injured after being attacked by stray dogs. The incident occurred on April 16 at Ranjangaon Khirdi in Paithan tehsil. The animal was safely rescued from the dogs’ grip. After eight days of continuous treatment, the blackbuck was released back into its natural habitat on Friday.

Veterinary doctor Dr Amit Pardeshi treated the injured animal for eight consecutive days. The rescue team from Man With Indies organisation, led by Ashish Joshi, along with Deepak Watane, Harsh Keware, Chinmay Divekar, and Ritesh Phandade, coordinated efforts to safely release the blackbuck into its habitat.
