Aurangabad, June 23: Stepping Stones celebrated a meaningful International Yoga Day and emotional Father's Day on June 21.

Zeal and passion of parents made the Father's Day memorable. Many participated in this assembly with their children very enthusiastically. They presented the prayer song "You Raise Me Up" followed by yoga where they performed different Asanas like Bhujangasna, Goumukhasna, Ardhmatsyendrasna,Tadasna, Vrikshasna, Chakrasna with their wards showing their benefits for our healthy life. The love between a father and a child was excellently depicted in a poem presented through a dance performance by some parents with their children. The poem vividly depicted how a father sacrifices everything for realizing the dream of his child. Principal Dr Angelo Michael D’ Cruize described the role played by a father in the life of a child. A son's first hero is his father and a daughter's first love is also her father, but many times it has been observed that fathers are less expressive, he said. The gathering got emotional for those who lost their father during this Pandemic.
