Aurangabad, July 22:

The political war between the Congress and the BJP was again highlighted as the government on Thursday appointed a non-official board of directors in the Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC). Jagannath Kale has been appointed as the chief administrator of the board.

Kale is the brother of the district Congress president Dr Kalyan Kale and is also the president of the Zilla Vyapari Mahasangh. He is also the director of the district central cooperative bank. Newly appointed chief administrator Kale expressed confidence that all the directors will work together for the benefit of the farmers. However, BJP has decided to challenge the decision in the court. Our petition seeking appointment of a publicly appointed board of directors is coming up in the court next Monday. The newly appointed board of director include Sarjerao Chavan, Shivaji Dhakne, Sheikh Mohammed Chand (All Congress), Shivaji Gawande, Mohammed Abu Gayas Bagwan, Udayraj Pawar, Krishna Ukirde (NCP), Murlidhar Chaudhary, Prakash Jadhav, Ganesh Navale, Ashok Shinde (Shiv Sena).
