Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A technical snag caused a delay for the Air India flight from Delhi to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Saturday, leaving passengers anxious. Amid the tense atmosphere, the spontaneous chants of “Ram Aayenge” transformed the plane into a devotional gathering, thanks to a live performance by the Sanatan Rock Band.

The band concluded their bhajan with the proclamation “Siawar Ramchandra Ki Jai”, engaging all passengers. The flight was scheduled to depart Delhi at 1:55 pm, but repeated delays caused mounting restlessness. Passengers kept asking crew members for updates, but unclear answers added to the tension. Seeing the growing unease, the band members stood up and performed the bhajan “Mere Jhopdi Ke Bhag Aaj Khul Jayenge, Ram Aayenge” from the aisle, accompanied by percussion instruments like dholki and other traditional drums. The devotional energy continued with songs like “Radha Gori Gori, Vrindavan Me Dhoom Machaye Barsane Ki Chhori” and “Radhe Krishna”, filling the entire cabin with music and joy. Passengers applauded the performance, capturing the moment on their mobile phones. The flight delay faded from memory as travelers immersed themselves in this unique spiritual experience. The band’s effort, turning a routine delay into a memorable devotional moment, has been widely appreciated.
