Aurangabad, Dec 28: A local entrepreneur Jairaj Patil took up a 200-km bicycle ride from Kranti Chowk, Aurangabad to Gevrai in Beed district (via Dhule-Solapur national Highway) to create awareness about health, yesterday.

It took him 12 hours and 14 minutes to complete the ride. He had also completed Aurangabad-Ahmednagar 200 kms ride on January 26 in 12 hours and 39 minutes.

A total of 37 persons participated in the ride organised by Iodex India on Sunday.

Covid 19 there is increased awareness about health among the people who now realise that not only physical but mental heath is equally important. Cycling is one of the best options to be healthy, said Patil.
