Chhatrapait Sambhajinagar: The growing stray dog problem in the Jinsi area is causing fear and inconvenience to residents, especially children and the elderly. Frequent incidents near homes and markets have raised serious safety concerns.

Citizens point to irregular garbage collection as a major cause and demand daily waste removal to stop attracting stray dogs.

They requested the administration concerned to adopt a humane and scientific approach, including sterilisation and anti-rabies vaccination, removal of aggressive or rabid dogs, keeping dogs away from schools and hospitals, and creating designated feeding areas, as per recent Supreme Court directions.
