Aurangabad, Nov 28:

Waluj MIDC police have registered an offence against unidentified thieves for beating a youth, who had come for an interview in a company, and ran away with his bike and mobile phone, from the industrial area, three weeks ago.

The victim Vikas Kashinath Jadhav (26, a resident of Satara Parisar) had arrived at Waluj MIDC area to appear for the interview in Endurance company, on November 3. While he was returning on his bike (MH20 CD 6065) in the evening, Vikas got a call from his friend Siddhant Sakla, at around 8.30 pm. As a result, he stopped his bike at NRB Chowk in the MIDC area. While he was busy in conversation, two thieves came from behind and snatched his mobile phone. Later on, they started beating him and pushed him from a bridge and fled away with the bike. They proceeded towards Vitawa. Vikas contacted the police and narrated his story. He was in a state of shock, therefore, he did not register the complaint and left for the home.

On Saturday, he returned from his native and registered his complaint with the police station. Further investigation is on by PSI Satish Pandit.
