A resident of Lota Karanja, Junaid Hasan Khan, died of a brief illness on January 14. He was 67.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was prayed after Namaz-e-Zohar at Lota Karanja Masjid and the burial took place in a graveyard at Mominpura.
He is survived by a wife, son, daughter and an extended family. The departed soul was the younger brother of former deputy mayor Taqi Hasan Khan, Zahid Hasan Khan and Saliq Hasan Khan.
