Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

The School of Film Arts at Mahatma Gandhi Mission University staged the one-act play ‘Justice’ at the Rukmini Auditorium on Saturday, receiving an encouraging response from the audience. The play highlighted the importance of balancing professional duty and family life.

Written by Kishor Thorat and directed by Dr Yogita Mahajan, the play depicts the sensitive story of a police sub-inspector whose dedication to duty unintentionally leads to neglect of his family. Raghavendra Singh, Renuka Vispute, Renuka Akkar, Shreeveer Kadam and Nandini Jadhav played key roles. University chancellor Ankushrao Kadam, vice-chancellor prof Vilas Sapkal, registrar Dr Ashish Gadekar and head of department Dr Shiv Kadam were present along with a large number of students and parents.
