Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

‘Kalavihangam 2K26,’ the five-day annual cultural fest being organised at MIT, was kicked off on Friday. Kalavihangam will be inaugurated officially at 6 pm on March 30, by District Collector Deelip Swami.

Police Inspector Kiran Shinde from Satara Police Station will be present as a special guest. The daytime events held on March 27 and 28 were successfully completed. Cultural programmes are scheduled for the evenings of March 30 and 31, 2026.

The evening programmes on March 30 and 31 will feature a variety of cultural performances, including traditional Indian dances, singing, drama, and the highlight event, “Bharat Darshan.”

Its Director Dr Nilesh Patil,Dr Shilpa Kodgire, Dr Kiran Chaudhary, Ajay Ratnaparkhi, Dr Amit Rawate and Dr Ghaisuddin Qadri, who have been actively working towards its success. General Director of MIT Munish Sharma has extended his best wishes for the success of the annual gathering.
