Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Authorities have declared Khultabad a Red Zone until April 18, imposing strict security measures around the city and Aurangzeb’s tomb.

The district administration issued the order on Wednesday evening, prohibiting the use of automated drones within city limits and near the historic site. Citing Sections 163(1) and (3) of the Indian Civil Security Code 2003, officials warned that any activity endangering human life, property, religious sites, or commercial establishments will face strict action. Security forces will closely monitor the area for a month to prevent any potential disturbances. With surveillance heightened, residents and visitors have been advised to follow the restrictions. Authorities have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
