Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Many women had lost their benefits under the Chief Minister's Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana due to selecting incorrect options while completing their e-KYC.

These women have now been given an opportunity to make corrections. The government has set March 31, 2026, as the final deadline for e-KYC corrections, with only a few days remaining.

The administration has urged eligible women to complete the process immediately. Some women have also been declared ineligible for the scheme because they did not meet the required criteria. Women whose benefits were stopped due to selecting the wrong options during e-KYC have been given a chance to make corrections. Also, beneficiaries whose benefits were halted due to discrepancies in Aadhaar, bank account, or personal information will also be able to complete this process.

During e-KYC, some women had entered incorrect information or chosen the wrong option. Many beneficiaries' installments had been stopped due to mismatches between Aadhaar numbers and bank account details, incorrect mobile numbers being recorded, or incomplete required information.

With the Government granting a correction deadline, around 30,000 women have received significant relief. They are likely to receive the scheme's benefits once again after correction.

District Women and Child Development Officer Mahendra Darade said that the government has granted an extension. Women whose benefits have been stopped should register by March 31. “Names can be checked in the online list at the Women and Child Development Department,” he added.
