The murder of retired Government Engineering College HoD Prof. Rajaram Londhe has put the spotlight on the lifestyle of main accused Vishal Rathod the social media reel creator popularly known as 'Lala'.

Rathod had carved a name in Maharashtra's digital space. He was honoured for digital contribution by union Minister of State for Social Justice Ramdas Athawale in Mumbai and was among 16 social media creators from the state selected for the award. Active in entertainment, Rathod worked on music albums and digital projects. He had 1.75 lakh Instagram followers and 2.28 lakh YouTube subscribers a combined digital reach of nearly four lakh. His YouTube channel Lala Chi Duniya showcased him as a song composer and lyricist. He began making short videos in 2019 and rose to popularity quickly. Following his arrest in the professor murder case, investigators are now closely examining his background, activities and social circle as part of the ongoing probe.
