Aurangabad, Oct 28:
Thieves stole a laptop and mobile phone worth Rs 20,000 from a locked house in Mayur Park between October 24 and 26.
According to details, complainant Walmik Subhash Raut (25) who is an engineer in a private company at Chitegaon, stays in a rented flat in Mayur Park area.
He went to Sillod for Dussehra festival on October 24. Taking an opportunity, thieves broke into a locked flat and made off with a laptop worth Rs 15,000 and mobile phone of Rs 5,000. The incident came to light when he returned on October 26.
On receiving information, police carried out panchama and registered a case of theft. Constable D R Jarare is on the case.
