Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Various programmes, including a lecture and procession, will be organised at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University on February 19 as part of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti celebration.

A procession of Shivaji Maharaj's portrait will be taken out from the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji at 8 am.

The main program will be held at 11 am. Renowned speaker Dr Kedarnath Phalke will deliver a lecture on 'Economy of Shivaji'. Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Phulari will preside over the function.

Pro-VC Dr Walmik Sarwade, Registrar Dr Prashant Amrutkar, and Management Council members Kashinath Deodhar, Nitin Jadhav will grace the event. Registrar Dr Prashant Amritkar, Director of Student Development Board Dr Kailash Ambhure have appealed to attend the programme.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Adhyasan Kendra organised various competitions recently. A research paper presentation was held on 'Mavalas' in the creation of Swaraj by Chhatrapati Shivaji.
