Aurangabad, Dec 19:

Jinsi police have booked Lokvikas Bank’s former chairman Jaggannath Khanduji Jadhav, chief executive officer Sanjay Lakhuji Auti and executive officer Bhagwan Ashruba Dole in the embezzlement of Rs 20 lakh on the basis of forged documents from a joint account of the bank.

Police said, complainant Kisan Murlidhar Bhade (70, Samarth Housing Society, Satara Area) started a company Anand Industries at Chikalthana MIDC area in 1980. In this company, Kranti Jaggannath Jadhav and Harshala Eknath Jadhav had share of 25 percent each and Bhade of 50 percent. They had a joint account in Lokvikas Bank and was operated with the signatures of these three partners. Meanwhile, the company was shut down in 2011. In October, 2019, Bhade went to the company and found that there was a tenant on this land. When inquired, he found that Jadhav had given the company on rent of Rs 13,500 per month and the tenant deposit the rent amount in the company account. When Bhade went to the bank to know the details of the account, the bank officers refused to give the information. After further inquiry, he found that Jadhav along with the bank officers used to do transactions in this account by attaching the forged documents. Bhade received the information that the embezzlement of Rs 20,00,781 has been done from the account so far. Hence, he went to the Jinsi police to lodge a complaint but the police refused to register a case. Hence, he approached the court and the court directed the Jinsi police to register a case in investigate. A case was registered late at night while PSI Vijay Jadhav is further investigating the case.
