MAGIC is helping identify and nurture promising startups. Established in 2015, the Marathwada Accelerator for Growth and Innovation Centre (Magic) aims to strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation in emerging regions by providing mentoring, infrastructure, funding, and a multi-stakeholder ecosystem. Magic directors Ashish Garde and Prasad Kokil stated that the accelerator has validated 6,200 ideas, conducted 1,600 one-on-one mentoring sessions, and engaged over 35,000 students, faculty, startups, and MSMEs across 22 states and union territories. Supporting 21 domains and 6 sectors, Magic has incubated 175 startups, raised Rs 49 crore, and generated 1,550 jobs.
