Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: To ensure that there is no disruption in power supply at examination centres during the HSC and SSC examinations, Joint Managing Director of Mahavitaran Zonal Office Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) Aditya Jiwane instructed all Chief Engineers and Superintending Engineers of Mahavitaran to provide uninterrupted power supply in all areas of Marathwada.

He has also warned that if there is any disruption in power supply at examination centres, if technical defects are found and if negligence is found in repairing the power supply, strict action will be taken against those concerned.

The examinations of Class XII and Class X are held as per the strict schedule of the State Board. No planned power supply will be disrupted during the examination period. Also, care should be taken not to shut down the power supply by giving a power shutdown notice.

To rectify the faults immediately to maintain power supply, the zonal officers should keep rapid response teams ready, make necessary technical equipment available and if any technical problems arise. These instructions were given to officers and employees concerned.

He has assured an uninterrupted and smooth power supply during the 10th and 12th Board examinations in all eight districts of Marathwada.
