A man was allegedly abducted, assaulted, and threatened with death by three persons, including one identified accused, over a financial dispute. The incident occurred between 6 pm and 8.30 pm on Sunday between Manjurpura and Naregaon, while a case was registered at City Chowk police station in the early hours of Tuesday.

The main accused has been identified as Rafe Khan (Central Naka), while two accomplices remain unidentified. According to police, the accused confronted the victim outside his residence while he was leaving for duty and demanded repayment of money. When the victim expressed his inability to pay, the accused and his associates allegedly forced him onto their motorcycle and took him to a closed warehouse at Naregaon. There, the accused allegedly assaulted him, abused him, threatened to abduct his children, and issued death threats. They also recorded his video and beat him with an iron rod on his left arm and thigh, causing injuries. Police said the complaint was filed later, resulting in a delay in registration. Further investigation is underway.
