A man was stabbed and his child beaten up by a local miscreant allegedly over a stare. The incident took place around 8 pm on Wednesday in Yasinnagar, under the jurisdiction of the Harsul police station.

Ayaz Ahmed (50) reported that on Wednesday, his 15-year-old son, Abubakar, was playing outside their home when a 27-year-old man named Ali, a local miscreant from Yasinnagar, confronted the boy, accusing him of staring. Despite Abubakar denying any such act, Ali began abusing and assaulting him. When Ayaz rushed to protect his son, Ali allegedly stabbed him in the waist and also assaulted Ayaz’s wife. After receiving treatment at GMCH, Ayaz filed a complaint at the Harsul Police Station.
