A woman in Pundliknagar lodged a complaint after a man secretly recorded her on her mobile and threatened to make the video public. The accused, Vishal Sonawane, allegedly sent the video to her on WhatsApp along with casteist remarks when she confronted him. Following her complaint, police registered cases under sections of insult to modesty, the IT Act, and the Atrocities Act. Assistant police commissioner Manish Kalyankar is overseeing further investigation.
